Gregory Uzelac | 'As Above, Down Undah' | Print

$180.00

Originally made as a chalk mural to commemorate his first solo exhibition in Australia, Gregory Uzelac (b. 1990 in New York) captured this mural and its sardonic markings in this single photograph. Uzelac has released this small edition of prints, allowing for the piece to live on with members of the public like it was initially intended. Uzelac, who grew up blocks away from Keith Haring's 'Crack Is Whack' wall in East Harlem, sought to bring some of his upbringing to the streets of Sydney, resulting in this cryptic-but-celebratory slice of urban migration folklore.

Dimensions: 59.4 × 42 cm (23 2/5 × 16 1/2 in.)

Signed by the artist. Edition of 20.
